Love your Spain posts! Going there is like a breath of fresh air. It is SO different; their styling and fashion approach is very different and unique. And that is ok! Yes here in the US, there are brands that are not even on the Spaniards’ radar. They do not care for brands as Khaite…because they have their own amazing brands, and that is ok. I think we just have to accept that they have their own heritage and craftsmanship (like in Ubrique, where all the row items are made!). Their quality is up par, and they do support small businesses and yes they have brands that here, we don’t even dream of. We all share our experiences and qualities ♥️

I love Spanish styling because you see it on the streets, combined in different ways & reflected in every age. Craftmanship is superb. Specially in women of a certain age who love to dress up & go out in the evening to walk arm in arm or sit las terrazas and drink their aperitivos with their friends.

Hi! I love hearing about your time in Spain. Thank you for sharing.

I’m curious what size you are in the nili lotan jacket? I’m a US 4 and wondering if I should do a small or a medium. Thank you!!

I wear an XS in the jacket, typically a US 2. Thank you for reading Kate!

Gosh I love your jacket so much!!! It’s so gorgeous! And I do understand your feeling of missing of clothes familiarity. I have felt that to a lesser degree when I moved from Toronto to Vancouver. It took a while to grab onto the west coast style.,I always felt conspicuously so “east coast”. It took about 6 months and some serious restyling to fit in. After I moved back to Toronto I returned to my natural style. 😀 I am do enjoying your adventure in Spain! Can’t wait for more. ❤️

The Aflalo jeans remind me of the Jane jeans from Alex Mill. They are so amazing 🤩 soft, perfect amount of play in the hips and thighs.

Love your Madrid posts!

Love your layered necklaces! How do you stop them from becoming a tangled mess, like they do when I try to do a stack?

My necklaces do become a mess sometimes. I think the leather chord helps, though (it doesn’t get tangled with the other chains).

question for you. I think you are very petite. What is good for a petite frame? I have long legs for my height but I'm only 5 foot two with a high waist so I have to be careful not looking like my boobs are like 2 inches from my waist

Have a look at Nelle Atelier. It’s designed for petite women like us. (I’m 5’4”)

Well Doña Juana, I'm glad you are having fun, at least with the shoes. The US not only looks crazy from across the Atlantic. It's becoming more and more terrifying by the hour- so enjoy enjoy enjoy... that apartment seems amazing. I wish we could exchange places. At my old age? I don't mind Zara jeans at all. I see myself & my silver curls drinking an apero in any terraza before dining in 'Sala de Despiece' in Chamberí. Have you been?

PS: love your jewelry stack

Does the Zara shirt run true to size? What's the length like? There's no info on the Zara site but it's so cute. Thank you! I'm loving your Spain posts, your perspective is analytical, creative and refreshing!

Just curious if you've checked out Flabelus while you've been in Madrid. They sell friulanes and Mary Janes of various styles which are all made in Spain (as opposed to Venice). There's a store in Salamanca (in addition to London, Barcelona, etc). Mine have held up very well and I walk a ton in them.
