The first call is the scariest – I was so nervous, too – but once you get going it's easy. Most people are nice. Or they hang up and you move on.

Amazing – thank you for your efforts Jeannie! I hope it was a good experience for you. The book is an accurate account of Wexner's work and includes the good and the bad. I should have mentioned the book's subtitle (I've just added it to the post): Selling Sexy: Victoria's Secret and the Unraveling of an American Icon.
