I love your interviews, stories and style from women operating in the real world. But I also very much enjoy your round-ups of what to buy as they cut through the incessant noise. I suppose it’s a balance and for me it is 1 interview for every 3 round-ups. But that’s just me. 🙂

I enjoyed the interview, particularly because I do love her shoes, sweatshirts and tees. I'd love it rounded out with photos and copy of you wearing some of the pieces and shoes and what you'd choose from the collection. So, and interview and a round-up. Love my JH Chukkas!

Kathy, I always love your feedback and I thought of you when Jamie started breaking down the shoe to wear with each jean style. It's like a capsule story of the one you requested (which I am still conceptualizing). Do I need the Chukkas, too? (Probably.)

Yes to the Chukkas for you! JH tees are also fantastic. I did learn a lot about which shoes for which jeans too, so thank you Jane and Jamie.

I personally love rules, because I'm constantly confused about what shoes look best with denim.

I loved this interview. I’m so intrigued by Jamie Haller — I wish she had a shop or showroom or trunk show so I could try everything on. She shows up in so many Substacks but then so does High Sport, which seems more about providing product to influencers. So hearing more about her and learning that her company is a B Corp is important and helpful! And I also loved your last letter - great to learn more about you and your connection to denim!

Is there anything better than jeans and a cool shoe? Loved this post. I love that she’s designing just what

I want to wear but elevated.

I feel so like myself in Jamie Haller denim and shoes, and, of course, the sweatshirt. I hear a soundtrack running through my head when I wear her things, and have these thoughts like, "OK, I still have it. Play it cool. OK." Thank you for the interview, loved this. I'm trying to talk myself out of a third pair ... If a trunk show happens in LA, I'm in.

... and what's remarkable to me, is that women 40 and up have spending power, but our needs are not met. We don't have the options 30 and younger have.
