Thank you for this lovely post! I must admit: once I bought a Flore Flore t-shirt, I never looked back. Over time I've accumulated a stack of their long, short and sleeveless styles - in all different colours and wear one near every day (with denim!). Each piece is exquisitely made and last forever. Worth every penny. I cherish each one and never stray...
Heck yes to Sunspel. My favorite T-shirts and long-sleeve shirts are Sunspel. I think I’m slowly turning my entire shirt drawer into a Sunspel drawer?! I kinda love that no one really talks about them, makes them feel more mine.
I'm always on the hunt for a great white tee, since I too, gave up on the James Perse one. Two questions for everyone - how do you keep your white tees white and not stained? Also what color tee do you wear alone if not wearing a white (summer)?
LOVE a white tee round-up. Will note that for those who are busty, the COS is tough. The shoulders are cut slim which means the ladies in turn can feel constricted. I loved the weight and wish it worked for me! One more to mention is the AYR Sno Cone. This is an old Allison Bornstein rec. The cotton is really soft, just the right opacity, perfect sleeve length and body length (for me) AND IT'S ON SALE FOR $40! https://www.ayr.com/products/the-sno-cone#39289371623503 I am normally between S and M and take the M in this.
Agree re COS. I find it impossible to move in. I also like to throw everything in the dryer and this shrunk like two sizes. They changed the cut a couple years ago and the prior iteration was perfection. I find the newer version to feel cheap in comparison.
Catching up on this! Love the intel on Sunspel- have been wanting to try! Also huge fan of the Hanes Nano also…Keep them stocked in my drawer and find myself reaching for them every day in the summer!
Such a good list!!!! Sunspel forever! Frances de Lourdes is perfection. Cant wait to try a few others. Also Kuzyk makes a chic white t with a unique shape/neck.
Flore Flore’s knits remind me of Juicy Couture back in the late 90’s. I wish I still had my cotton raglan’s from that era! They were great quality. I’m disappointed the main thing fashion remembers them for is the terry cloth.
Thanks for the recs! Will be fillin the cart later!
Thank you for this! Really appreciate the comment on Frances de Lourdes Nico T. I've wanted to love her Sadie T, but I just can't. They're expensive and heaven forbid they end up in the wash! I'm a fan of ATM. Nice fit and drape, but based I'm on the recs here, I'm off to check out Sunspel. Thanks, Jane!
just received my sunspel tees....they are definitely going to be my favs! thank you so much for recommending! i'm already seeing more in my very near future! :)

Also wondering this! How does one avoid getting makeup on the front collar??? This is always the first spot to go downhill.

I've worn a lot of ATM tees over the years. Very good t-shirts. I hope you like Sunspel, too.
