I only noticed no post because I love reading JoJ, but life, care and love are more important. I hope both you and your loved one are OK. Sending a big hug.
I hope you are okay, Jane. A jeans question for you when you have capacity: what would be a good alt for the cult Nili Lotan Joan jeans for short girls? They’re cut for very tall ones!
Pandora! Great question. I'm a shorty and Nili Lotan jeans are hard for me, too. Look at the Louise Long High Straight from B Sides. It also has a fitted top block and stovepipe leg. Plus B Sides's jeans have super duper washes, like Nili's (even though the wash on Louise isn't as deep as Joan's). Inseams lean petite, generally. If you try them I'd love to hear how it goes: https://bsidesjeans.com/collections/jeans/products/louis-long-high-straight-hyde-wash
Update - they are unavailable in the UK and the B sides website add an extra £130 for taxes and shipping 🥲 So sadly I might not get to taste the goods!!
PS Jane, I received my Michino bag - that I saw on your post - and have not stopped using it! I usually change purses regularly, but this has been on my arm for 3 weeks now! I got mini Lutece in plume, and it is a dream. Their customer service is amazing too! THANK YOU for yet another fantastic suggestion!
I missed the post so much I re-read the older ones and got my fix! Sending healing energy to you and your loved one! Remember to take care of the caregiver (YOU!!!) xo
Also I purchased a random pair of jeans while out Christmas shopping. They are from a company called Daze denim. The washes are not bad and the fit is quite good too for the price point. Just thought you might be interested!
I did notice no post last week, as I really look forward to them. So sorry about the difficult family issue - and hope it resolves for everyone involved in a positive way. X

I’m so happy you had a good experience with Michino! Isn’t it special? I’m eyeing the totes now. The quality is tops. Thanks for the review.
