I love your brainy approach, and I always learn something new. this idea of denim trading and other ways to consider sustainability really resonates with me. One thing I sometimes have are extra pieces of jeans. Either after humming or sometimes because I cut something into shorts I generally take these to my dry cleaner and ask him to keep them on hand for repairs for customers, but I wonder what others do. Thanks again!

Denim scraps! I love that you take them to the tailor, great idea. I always say I'm going to sew mine into something useful (a trivet or something)... lofty ambitions! Thanks for the this tip.

Thank you for explaining selvage denim - I’m going to share your post with my husband. He has some weird obsession with selvage denim, ever since shopping in some cool-kid boutique on LES years ago. No he didn’t but the jeans, but he still talks about them.
