I love this collection so much. I'm 71 and have worn jeans since I was 4! I purchased the Salt in the Georgia jeans and the Pier shirt. Love it so much, I just ordered in the indigo. Thank you Jane for putting such incredible thought into your pieces.

Hi! This might sound nuts, but do you plan on continuing the Georgia Jean for a while? Like them

a lot, and of course the idea of a woman owned small business. My issue is that they are mot in my budget right now, and I wouldn’t want to miss out on them. I don’t buy much and I’m pretty select with what I do buy…and these are special! Thanks in advance 〰️

Not nuts! At this point, I plan to keep the Georgia as a foundational fit. I actually just restocked the Vintage Blue version in all sizes, and as long as it continues to sell, I will continue to keep it in the line. The white version of the Georgia is more seasonal (which means it will likely go on sale during the holidays). It means a lot to me that you are plotting your purchase. Rest assured, the Georgia will be around for a while.

I am 5'9" and need a 32 length. Can it be done by letting down the hem?

Hi Janet, If you are any size between 27-31, and so starting with a 31” inseam, then yes, you’ll get to 32”. You’ll have that let-out-hem look, but I don’t mind that. (Whereas, I do mind a straight-cut unfinished hem.)

For sure will finish the hem:)

I’m curious if you think these would fit well on someone who has a dramatic waist to hip measurement differential. Jeans are always presented on straighter bodied models, so it’s so difficult to know without trying on. And waist sizing isn’t always indicative of the rest of the sizing. Thanks!

(And I’m the mother of a Georgia too - only mine is 25 😍)

Hi Jacqueline. As the Georgia sits lower on the waist/hips, I think the fit would be better on your shape than something higher waisted (which probably always needs to be cinched, right?). My fit model is very square, I will tell you. If you’re comfortable with a mid-rise and a slightly dropped crotch, I think it’s worth trying. And return labels are included with all orders, to make it easy, if it doesn’t work out.

Okay Jane! I’m about to pull the trigger on the jeans in blue and the pier shirt (so fabulous!) and just need a bit of advice on the shirt…. I usually wear a large, or size 10-12 in jackets for my long arms and I know you’ve advised a size down. What do I do in this case? Thanks so much! I love your pieces! Keep it coming!

Best, Jamie

Jamie, hi. Get a Medium in the shirt. I I have a few left. Do you feel good about the Jean size you’re going with?

Hi Jane!

I’d go large on the shirt then. Thank you, that helps! I do I think, feel good about the Jean. I’m thinking 31 since I like a baggy waist feel.

Thank you!

Jamie

What is your philosophy on offering a more inclusive set of sizes? Such a bummer to feel very much not included in these amazing jeans.

I would love to include more sizes – petite and plus – in jeans. What size are you looking for? The denim Pier shirt fits men up to an XL and is particularly size inclusive.

I would encourage you to prioritize size inclusivity as you build out your brand! Have you had conversations with people who would like to wear your jeans but can't fit into them?

Yes. Size inclusivity comes up in every meeting/conversation I have about company growth. I am just getting started on this.

Hi … love the look of the Georgia but very concerned how it will look after I chop it off for my short legs … 25 inseam. I love an ankle jean? Your thoughts. Usually it changes the entire look. Sadly.

Hi Deb, Yes taking 5” off the leg will definitely change the look. If you like a cropped jean, this maybe isn’t the one for you. Look at Nelle Atelier. It’s made for shorter women and great.

The wash and fit is 😘👌🏽 I so wish I could try them before buying in the U.K.! Same issue as above - hips! xC

Hi Camilla. I just replied to the hips comment/question, have a look. Shipping to the U.K. is tough/£££ for me, being such a small brand. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to make it easier for you. Thanks for reading!
