If my eyes are seeing right all your new jeans have inseam and « outseam » double felled seams … which I love and didn’t even know could be a design choice until I got my Georgia jeans a while ago. There’s something subtle but finished and structured about this choice. Your attention to detail is impeccable. I’m excited to try this new launch and have been awaiting it since last year ….
All of your jeans look great and I’d love to try them. It’s just so disappointing that they don’t come any larger than 31. I’m 5’11” and modeled in my younger years when I was 120 pounds, but at 57 I now wear a 32 or 33 and I’ve never seen those sizes offered. Any chance you will increase your size range in the future? Thank you.
Great question. I have plans to expand sizing – both up and down – when I get a little bit bigger. That said, the Bob runs a bit big and you could try a size 31 if you wear a true size 32.
Ooooh they are both so cute!! Cannot wait to try! I did notice that you say the sally runs TTS like the Georgia. But in the sizing details of the Georgia you say it runs a bit big. Im a 25-26 and have georgias in 25 and they fit wonderfully loose but not too big at all. I imagine I’d get a 25 in the sally too?
Hi Susan, Such an astute observation. Some of my customers prefer the Georgia to fit on the tighter side, so I encourage them to size down. But it sounds like you are wearing the Georgia as it's intended, and I would get the Sally in the same size. UNLESS, you want a tight tight high rise, and then go down a size in the Sally. Does that make sense?
HI Jane! I got my Sallys and my Bobs today! Thrilled! The Bobs are perfect although after reading your post (again) I think I may hem them - right now they are just grazing the very top of my foot and I think they might be super cute at ankle bone. Is that your intention? So glad I got the 24 it is perfection.
And the Sallys are really long - they pool. What length are you thinking for them? (of course I realize this is totally personal but I love your vision) The washes are GORGEOUS and the weight and fit are super cute. The Bobs I put on and wore the rest of the night. The Sallys I'm going to try again to see what shoes, etc. They kind of swallow me but maybe that's a good thing! And I LOVE my little Jane bag! THANK YOU!!!
Susan, I am so happy you love your jeans, thank you!! To answer your questions: I like the Bob either way – grazing the top of the foot (which I'll show in Saturday's newsletter, so maybe wait and read that one?) AND cropped. The fit intent was to have them cropped, but once they came in and I started wearing them longer, I liked it. There is no wrong way.
The Sally's are really long, you're right. That's so long legged women can wear them with heeled boots, if they want. I shortened mine quite a lot, too, and asked the tailor to have the hem hit the floor at the back of the foot/heel. I like them with sneakers and the Chloe boots I've been talking about, which have a Western vibe. Just no dainty flats. Is this helpful?
The waist circumference on a size 27 at the top of the waistband, when buttoned, is 33" The wait circumference grades 1" per size. (So a size 26 has a 32" waistband circumference; size 28 is 34").
I can’t wait to buy my first pair of your jeans!!! I love the attention to detail. I typically buy a size 28 in jeans. I’m interested in the sally and I know you mention size down for a tighter fit and regular for a looser fit. Do you have an image of both “looks” so I can see what style I’m looking for? Thank you so much!!

Hi Anne, Good eye! I love a double felled seam and gave it to both the Bob and Sally. Thank you for noticing.

Stumbled out of bed to see the size on my Trip Jacket in Salt, and ordered the black. Congratulations on another fantastic collection. xx
Thank you for always being so supportive Kathy. xx
Never mind I found it! ❤️
Ohhhh love the Sally. I probably have 25+pairs of jeans but the Sally is on my list. I am 5’10 what is Sally’s inseam?

Totally thank you!! And if I get the Bob too should I do 14 or 25?
I would get a 24!
So excited thank you!!

Heck yeah to the dark wash!! Jane, can you comment on the waist measurements in the Sally?
